to market, to market

My friend Lynelle Miller and I went to the Made with Love Bazaar Market.
It was really lovely to meet everyone and a few from bloggers land. Lovely to meet you all.

We did ok and will try and go again in the next month... We had to wear vintage aprons, that was fun.
The next time our stall won't be sooo crowded. Refine our stall table and our market so to speak.
Smaller cheaper things sell very well, we have decided. People don't like spending BIG money at "markets".
The next one will be 14th May. Lets get folding.
Here are the flowers I took along. They did well too.

These flowers I have made for my sister's wedding bouquet. I just love them. I think I will change the red velvet ribbon to a wide black satin.

Cheerio Tam. Have fun.

Two little bluebirds

Here is what I finished this last week. Two gorgeous little blue wrens. Inspired by the many beautiful blue wrens flitting the front lawn, while the cat sleeps on the swing chair on the front porch.
I have also completed another pair of booties. Took me less time sewn on the sewing machine than by hand. But i am not so keen on them. They are still beautiful, they just look more factory made than handmade...
Three little singing girls. I found a gorgeous site winter carolers here. They were quite easy to make. I have made them for our christmas tree this year. A bit early maybe, but they were soo cute I couldn't wait. I might have to make some for little presents...
I so loved these tooo. Inspired by a little pic that popped up in my searching for cushions...I have two pinks ones to complete now...
here they are done...

And that is about it for now.
I am working on two leadlight windows with my baby home from school sick today, not getting a lot done though. She is watching Dora while trying not to fall asleep in the sun on the couch. I so want to get outside and garden but it is too far away from my sickie...Hope she gets better soon, deary little thing...
Maybe a pink house will fix her up for a little bit.
Cheers for now tam.
