Recycled stained glass feathers

Here is my take on the stained glass feather pattern. I love that they take up little glass, as I have sooo much scrap saved and put away. There are quite a few feathers on Pinterest, and I love them all...

Recyled Amber Planter

A few things I start never finish as they are planned...Or just sometimes items change their purpose as the seasons change, I guess. That is my theory anyway.

This was going to be an oriental shaped lampshade for my sons rooms. But nevertheless as I was cleaning up my studio I decided these 4 pieces were destined to be a planter...Did I clean up my studio? Nope. So many things to make and do...

So here is something new again a hanging stained glass leadlight planter. Just plantless at the moment.

Made from recycled amber glass and an antique, tarnished mirror that someone passed onto me as scrap. I love that I can give old glass a new life for a while longer.

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Theme Challenge #69

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Theme Challenge #69
What a wonderful colour, Hello Honey. A few scrappy bits, sponged, stamped and flagged.
Easily add a flower some leaves and sequins.Nearly left it blank but I really do like a little word.
The new Rose Wonder and Rose Garden Thinlit set are too beautiful not to share.
Again I think I could have left this blank too, but I can't help myself.

AND the last but not the least, took me way too long in the heat to decide on how to finish this little love card.
Bloomin' Love Stamp and Bloomin' Heart Thinlit set. Add a retired arrow bling to make it pop.

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Colour Challenge #68

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Colour Challenge #68

Beautiful Colours in the DSP match this challenge so well... I wonder how many of us have used this set this week...Sponged the outside of the DSP with Rose Red. Added a spot of Rose Red into the middle of the flower and edge sponged with Crushed Curry. The top card sentiment stamped on edge of ink pad Crushed Curry and flipped to the darker Rose red. Finished with a small leafy hint of Mint Macaron. I love how this has turned out.

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge #67

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge #67
The right sketch, hahaha I made the other two below first without studying the sketch very well...I have embossed white onto the Designer Paper Series paper and then sponged over it to make the sentiment stand out. I added a little more sponging to bring the whole card together. Something different.

Using my new stamp sets here and the one below...Love this card too.

White emboss on white to add texture to the card. I did get the order around the wrong way with the embellishment lol...

The Artful Stampers -Team Challenge Blog Hop - SAB Challenge 66

Hi there, long time no see. I had a little break and got stuck into Christmas tripping, shopping, evacuating houses due to bushfires and drank and ate way too much.

Back to Normal as can be, while kids are on school holidays, besides hay carting in the middle of the hot summer...Really what is normal???

Here's my take on the Brand New Sale-A-Bration Catalogue Challenge...I can't wait to show you the new catalogue. I love all that is in there. I am soooo excited.

The new Flowering Fields out of the NEW Sale A Bration Catalogue. I do love how clear the image stamps so beautifully.
The sentiment comes from the HOSTESS only stamp set Best Thoughts, which I also love.
The background tone on tone stamp comes from the also NEW Occasions Catalogue called Timeless Textures.
There really are so many beautiful stamps in the two new catalogues.
Keep tuned for next week, when they become available to EVERYONE.
