Beautuiful Flower shop

I was inspired by Pinterest and my new Flower Shop stamp set and punch. I just love punches. They're quick and easy to grab stamp and punch.

Lemon lime twist, Peekaboo peach and my all time favourite Melon Mambo make for a simple and lovely girly card.

I stamped the back of the card marbled and considered using it as the base, but felt it be too busy. So I just flipped the card. Looks better now.

Do you stamp the back?

Have fun looking around and if you need anything else just holler.

Happy Birthday

A happy rainy birthday card making moment. While trying to garden in between showers I stopped to play indoors.  The temperature dropped from 11 to 5 degrees. It is freezing. A couple of late cards on the agenda but still worthy of sending.

I used the new in colours powder pink and lemon lime twist, the new dsp pack and the happy birthday thinlit dies. With tone on tone Daisy Delight stamp and the easy peasy coordinating punch.

The A5 card cut to a 14.5cm length and 10.5cm normal width. I calculated the rectangles to be 9x5 9x4 4x5 4x4 to fit nicely. (For the record you could cut lengths of 9cm and work from there).

Marbled eclipse baby

Like everyone else. I had a go at the eclipse technique card. I have no idea why its called this but it was fun anyway.

Stamped the marbled background. Lined up the letters from middle. Stuck down to a black base and used 3 dimensionals to lift up the letters. Very easy really.

Baby card

Beautiful card and easily changed up for different sentiments. These I made specifically for babies, so to speak.

Pretty and simple. I love it

Using a small acrylic block to add background stamps and where my inky pad was dripping off the block created even more effect.

Tone on tone and the same colour on whisper white with a touch of garden green, makes for a simple and easy baby card.

Step it up by adding perhaps little flag with a staple in the top.

Step it up again by adding some twine.

Bow tie scarf

A gorgeous pattern I found on the web. Just google it.

These garter stitch scarves I have knitted using stashed yarn or donated by a good cause, going to the winter warmies for the NW Coast people of Tasmania.

I loved knitting these...
