Card Making Day # 2

It was a lovely day, had by me and my girly friends...

We made 3 beautiful cards and ate soup and talked about our businessess and other business stuff. As we crafties all know we don't make millions. We make smiles for others...

Here are the three cards we made today. Have fun looking.

I have blogged this card recently for Artful Stampers annual blog hop. I have used pearls instead of gems and love them.

I also love this santa card also using the Stampin' Up manhatten flower embossing folder, and the butterflies embosslits for the moustache...:)

This card is showing a new In Colour for this year, Primrose Petals, with the very versatile neutral range of colours sahara sand and chocloate chip...Any light neutral would work with a dark neutral here.

And that is it for today...I did have a little practice this morning before the girls turned up with the manhatten flower white on white card BUT in "real red" on red, and failed....I don't like it...needs something else, what do you think?

Cheers Tamsin.

The Artful Stampers ~ Annual Catalogue Blog Hop.

It’s Stampin’ Up’s! New Annual Catalogue Time!!!  To celebrate, some of our Team – The Artful Stampers – are sharing fabulous projects showcasing a selection of the gorgeous new products available in the 2012-2013 Catalogue!!

You may have hopped here from Carolyn Bennie's Blog.  I’m stop 13 out of 14 on the Hop and I’m glad you “hopped” in.

Thank you for visiting and if you'd like to leave a comment I'd be very pleased to hear what you think of the new catalogue and products.

Here is my pick:
Hand cut the embossed Manhatten flower at the top and the bottom and adhere to card with dimensionals. Trimmed the corners of the card with round corner punch and SNAIL adhesive was used for the butterflies to the blank area. I also added 3 gems to the largest butterfly. I love this plain look and it will work with any single colour.

The Beautiful Stampin' Up product I used:
This colour is whisper white page 156, code 106550, 40 sheets A4 $14.95
with the butterfly embosslit folder page 188 code 118138, $20.95
the beautiful Manhattan flower folder page 189 code 114517, $13.95
also used to adhere SNAIL adhesive page 177, code 104332, $11.95
and Stampin' Dimensionals page 177, code 104430, $6.95
and to glitterize it with Rhinestone Basic Jewels page 175, code 119246 $8.95
and the finishing touch I used the 3/16" (5mm) corner punch page 183, code 119871, $11.95
AND of course the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine page 186, code 113439, $only 149.95...

and to send it in, Whisper White C6 envelopes page 160, code 106588, $10.95 for 40

Cheers Tamsin.
