Something like this. There are plenty of YouTubes to show you how. Just google.
Chunky yarn with suitable size hook to achieve a little drape.
I used a 6.5mm for a suggested 5 to 6mm.
My piece measures 11" wide x 25" long.
Ch 24. Multiples of 3.
Row 1 Ch2 Dc into same stitch of the 2 ch. Miss 2 stitches and 3dc, miss two stitches 3dc, miss two stitches 3dc, etc until end of row and 2Dc into the last stitch. Ch 2 (of the next row), turn.
Row 2 3Dc into space and continue until end of row. into top of ch 2 of last row. Ch 2 turn
Continue to repeat the last two rows until piece measures 25 inches or to your desired length. Join the short ends together with a flat seam. Enjoy it for yourself or gift giving.
Have fun looking around and if you need anything else just holler.
