Hand knitted neck warmers

Simple and beautifully warm, easy hand knitted neck warmers

The yarn purchased from Spotlight
as Pictured in Red.
Moda vera AMBRUNI
(60% Acylic, 20%Alpaca and 20% Wool)
The brown yarn was a 12 ply in a mix of acrylic/wool, we didn't keep the ball band.

The Tension (about 12 ply)
on ball band 6.5mm needles
14 st x 19 rows (10cm x 10cm sq.)
2 balls, but we used only 1/4 of second ball.

The Pattern handknited and "made up by My mum".

Using 7mm needles
Cast on 30 stitches
Knit 28 rows rib 2x2
134 rows of garter stitch
Knit 28 rows rib 2x2
Cast off.

Sew on 3 buttons as per photo and catch a few stitches underneath at the bottom of neck warmer to keep under flap in place.

Twoooo beautiful.
Wearing the point to the side (knitted with another yarn-wool/acrylic mix in 12 ply)
