I love the idea that you can stamp and cut out the mage fairly quickly. and even if you dont want to stamp, you can still get a cutout of the shapes you want.
AND the other idea that crossed my mind while playing today, is if you dont have the same colour cardstock, matching DSP (designer paper series) and ink. Then it's easier to mix them up...

Kissing technique. Ink a patterned stamp and place a more solid image stamp on top to ink it. Then stamp it onto paper. I also inked the emboss folder for background paper. |
Using the same inked embossed folder stamping, for the background and then DSP for the onesie. Not matching exact colours, still looks great. |
DSP for the background and solid stamping for the the onesie in matching colour. Mixing colours is easy. |
DSP all over. And if you don't have enough DSP for just one square, cut it out of the middle of the background and then cover it up. |
DSP all over again, but if you if you don't have enough solid base colour use another, in this case I used black. |
